Born Soosan Azizi on August 21, 1974 in Kermanshah, Iran, the oldest of seven children. She attended schools in Kermanshah from 1981 to 1993 and graduated from high school.
From 1995 to 2000 she studied geography in Kermanshah and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. During this time she attended a painting school from 1997 to 2001. The first pictures, especially of his own family, date from this time. The first sculptures were created in 1999. Since 2005 she has been authorized to work as an art teacher in Iran. In 2011, Susan Azizi received a certificate as an Iranian artist from the Ministry of Culture in Iran.
In 2006, Susan Azizi received approval from the Ministry of Culture of the Iranian Government to work as a visual artist. The first commissioned work, baskets with a diameter of five meters, was created in 2008 in Bushehr – a city on the Gulf of Persia in Iran. Numerous commissioned works followed such as the pelicans, the stork or the large sculpture for a fountain in Busher. For the university in Kermanshah she made a six meter high lettering on the facade. The certificates are also available.
For her sculptural work she received many recognitions and awards from the city of Busher.
Their Christian faith resulted in persecution in their own country. She left the country in November 2014 and has lived in Germany ever since.
